The Underground Booty Squad
A hole barely large enough to fit a human body leads into a natural crevice with some amazing formations - Chute's Cave. Although the first few yards feel like a death squeeze, the cave opens up the farther back you go, until it ends in a large room filled with rotted wooden pillars, a tunnel extending off to the left, and more cave passage to the right. This tunnel, known after Chute's Tunnel, is filled with red, oozing mud, probably one of the muddiest underground places in Tunnel City. It dead-ends at what used to be an entrance along the river bluff. About a century ago, when the tunnel was dug, they were forced to abandon the tunnel after they encountered the cave by surprise because it was not economically feasible to dig through the limestone in the cave or around it!
