The Underground Booty Squad
Nicollet Island is a historic island in the middle of downtown Minneapolis. Unknown to many locals, a network of tunnels run under the island and connect to a cave with several skulls carved into the wall and a candelabra "devil shrine" taking center stage. To get to this cave, one must stoop along a low, brick water main tunnel that runs halfway around the perimeter of the island. Many side tunnels branch off from this tunnel, most of which are dead-ends.
